Crawl

I've been viewing things at a late night slant

Evening

Even in the afternoon

We're separate, you and I.

As I try to comprehend the eyebrow arches

Please, please don't detract from this release

I'll tuck you in

When strangers go to bed not realizing

What they've done

These sweet hesitations

Red faced males all up on their adversaries

Contained explosions

On the whirling eve of their involuntary decision

Let me write

Look

Sea

See people walking around asleep

We'll crack whips

And spin

Appearing not to read facial expressions

From two tables over

Or three

Depletion of electronic emperor's clothes

Restraint

And if you're unaware of the need for restraint

Eating anything in the cold

I record and filter these experiences

Opus deletion

The lurkers read

There's this, also

Gathering clouds

Thunderflashes

Pouring summer cold

Whether rapport

Okay, weather report

Incomprehensible rolling cartilidge

Trembling choirs

I keep up on this

As you roll over in bed

Writing with my eyes closed

What do you mean?

It all makes me sort of uncomfortable. And like you need a hug or something.

Did you ever go over and read your work prior to the loss?

This is my favorite part. It gives me shivers. It makes me feel so much. This will sound totally off the wall but it makes me think of The Little Matchgirl and who the fuck knows why...
